When Animal Aid Unlimited arrived to rescue Phoenix, the street dog in India was taking her last breaths.
She had collapsed in a sewer, and even though the water was not deep, she had no strength to keep from drowning. Her snout was dipping into the water and she was in severe shock.
They didn’t know why until they lifted her out of the water and saw that her leg was completely shattered and necrotic.
Although Phoenix’s life looked like it was over, they set to work to save her. Not long after something miraculous happened.
