A plea to find a terminally ill Beagle a forever home for Christmas has been answered. Griswold, an 8-year-old beagle battling lymphoma, will spend what might be his last Christmas with a loving family.
Griswold loves Cheese Wiz, snuggles and food. The homeless dog was one of 51 animals that the shelter in Chesterfield County, Virginia, included in their seventh annual Operation Silent Night.
Griswold didn’t have to wait long, however. “On the first night of Operation Silent Night, Griswold found his family,” RAL writes.
His story is a great reminder that there are many other homeless pets looking for a loving home for the holidays. Reach out to your local rescue and make another Griswold very happy!
