When rescuers arrived to save a street puppy, they found him in under a truck. He was so badly injured he couldn’t move.

Despite the pain he was in, he wagged his tail when one of the rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited, India approached.

After returning to the shelter they found the puppy they named Oreo had an injury to his pelvis.

His rear legs couldn’t bear weight – he would need extensive bed rest – a challenge for any puppy for sure.

The first day under their care Oreo refused to eat – he must have been in so much discomfort and pain. Instead, he preferred to get love and comfort from his rescuers.

But a few days later, he was feeling better and enjoying his physical therapy sessions.

He pawed and and played with his rescuer as he got massages and exercises to his bad pelvis to ensure it would heal properly.

After extensive care and patience Oreo is once again on his feet and walking!

Oreo surely would have died on the streets if he hadn’t been rescued, and he certainly never would have walked again if not for the care and attention he received from his loving rescuers.

Watch Oreo’s heartwarming recovery in the video below.
