Lost and alone, living in filth, Jamie Lee was not happy to see rescuers from Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
“We found her hiding in an electrical room in the hot basement of a house that was literally falling down,” they described. “Weeds grew through the cracks of the foundation and sweat dripped down our backs.”
It took some coaxing, but once Jamie was in their rescuer’s car, a huge smile crosses her face. From there she completely wins the hearts of her rescuers by offering her paw and demanding belly rubs.
